![]() ![]() Was playing at 2560 X 1440 on a 144Hz screen for awhile, then it was a 165Hz screen. It will obviously take 2-3 generations but we will eventually get there. Ive to admit that I would definitely go for higher refresh rates and keep high visuals but there is no GPU out there which would be able to fulfill all my needs so Ive to compromise. I need some eye candy while playing those AAA games and even a fast paced game like Cyberpunk, feel totally smooth on 60FPS. To answer OPs questions, I prefer quality over FPS, which means Ultra settings FPS on 1440p/4K (simulators like MSFS2020&TSW2 not into competetive games anymore, so nice visuals are to crucial to me. Ive recently played on a 60hz panel and it felt more like 30-40FPS on a 144hz display. Therefore its really hard to make a final judgement. I completely agree with your comment about personal preferences and I also agree that 90-120FPS is some kind of a sweet spot, but one have to keep in mind that 60FPS on a 60hz monitor feel completely different than 60FPS on a 100/120/144/240hz monitor.
